Over the past three years, I have worked as a UI/UX and Product Designer with diverse teams and clients, bringing impactful design solutions to various industries. My experience as a freelance and contract designer has not only broadened my skill set but also deepened my understanding of different perspectives and user needs.
My passion lies in using design to drive positive social change, focusing on empathy and accessible design. Currently, I am channeling this passion into developing a platform dedicated to building a supportive community for women, non-binary, and femme-presenting individuals. This platform addresses underrepresented health issues, ensuring these voices are heard, valued, and supported. My goal is to create an inclusive space that fosters connection and users.
Beyond being a designer, I spend the most of my free time, reading fiction, feminist & Marxist literature , sleeping or exploring any other creative endeavors that piques my interest at the time. My days often start with an almost ritualistic cup of coffee—I'm not just a coffee lover; it's practically an essential part of my identity.
I used to enjoy staying active with tennis, yoga, and Pilates, but a knee injury has slowed me down a bit. It's been a challenge, but it's also opened up new avenues for creativity. I've recently started learning to sew and make illustrations, embracing these as new ways to express myself.
I listen to podcasts a lot and enjoying curation music playlists that suit my different moods. While I'm a die-hard coffee fan, I'm currently on a journey to explore matcha and teas—who knows, they might become my next big obsession.
Occassionally, I take photographs of nature and things around me.
Experience
August 2024 - Present
I designed and built the entire architecture of a responsive website, handling everything from user research and SEO optimization to ideation, wireframes, and high-fidelity design. I developed the site on Framer and managed the deployment to the hosting platform. Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with stakeholders and the product manager to ensure the final product met all requirements and expectations.
September 2022 - July 2024
I worked on Syncventory, an inventory management enterprise B2B and B2C platform, where I researched and designed the stock management, order management, and e-commerce features. I also contributed to the Lex Lawyer web app as a web designer. In both projects, I collaborated closely with a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, stakeholders, and product managers to deliver effective and user-friendly solutions.
